Course Overview

Semester 1

Recommended Prior Learning

Ideally you would have gained credits in performance and composition at Level 2. Students who have not studied music before should discuss options with the HOL. It is advised that students enter into this course with at least Level 1 music literacy and performance skills. Nonetheless, students in this category are less likely to attain maximum credits in this course. It is crucial therefore that these students stay well aware of their overall credit tallies from all  subjects so that they stay on track in terms of completing their NCEA Level 3 Certificate.
