Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr Colquhoun.
This course is offering 5 internal standard and an external standard. The tasks in these internal assessments cover the three main areas in Science - Biology, Chemistry and Physics. All these tasks have a practical component where students are required to collect and process data from a practical activity.
Course Overview
Semester 1
Internal standards:
1. The properties of metals that make them useful in society (chemistry)
2. Investigate various chemical reactions (chemistry)
3. Investigating the linear relationship between two variables (physics)
External standard:
4. Mechanics (physics)
Semester 2
Internal standards:
1. Life processes and how they are affected by environmental factors
2. Investigate the interaction between humans and micro-organisms
