Physical Ed-Health

Apply movement strategies in an applied setting involves demonstrating a range of movements in contexts such as team or individual activities, cultural activities or outdoor education activities. For health aspect students will use a decision making process to make a decision in a health related situation that will support well-being. 

Course Overview

Semester 1
Students will demonstrate at least 3 movement strategies that will help a player or team to successfully achieve a movement outcome or goal. Students can select a suitable context that they are familiar with such as team or individual activities, cultural activities, festival, event or an outdoor experience. Combined with a decision making process in response to a health related situation.

Semester 2
Students will demonstrate at least 3 movement strategies that will help a player or team to successfully achieve a movement outcome or goal. Students can select a suitable context that they are familiar with such as team or individual activities, cultural activities, festival, event or an outdoor experience. Combined with a decision making process in response to a health related situation.

> Written document in digital or paper based format including images and 750 - 800 words.
> Video or audio recording of 3-4 min.
> Combination of text, images, and audio / video recordings (equivalent combination of the above)
> Written report
