Course Description

High level of participation in Y10 Physical Education and a genuine interest to improve fitness and Well-being.


Lrt's Get Fit involves executing a range of movement strategies in an applied setting eg: individual or team activities, cultural activities, or outdoor activities with the purpose of successfully achieving a movement outcome or goal. Students will also explore fitness testing, setting goals, planning a program, and training to improve fitness and well-being. 


Course Overview

Semester 1
> Demonstrate a range of movement skills and strategies in an applied setting. for example offensive, defensive, tactical strategies in team or individual activities or activities involving cultural festival, event, or outdoor experience.
> Manage personal fitness with guidance involves experiencing a range of physical tests for, speed, agility, flexibility, power, strength, setting goals and implementing a program for fitness improvemnt.

Semester 2

Assessment for these standards will be a structured portfolio with options to present your work from the following formats.
> Written document in digital or paper based format including images and 750 - 800 words.
> Video or audio recording of 3-4 min.
> Combination of text, images, and audio / video recordings (equivalent combination of the above)
