Resource construction skills to create multiple forms of complex presentations which include visual, spatial and statistical combined.

Social skills in working with others and appreciating different values and perspectives.

Communication skills in presenting information as an essay, power point presentation, SOLO graphic organisers.

Geography is recognised as a useful qualification for a wide range of careers. Some of the hundreds of different jobs geographers are working include: Resource Planner, GIS Analyst, Conservation, Wildlife Management (DoC), Logistics & Transportation, Teaching & Education, Resource Management (Ministry of Environment, Climate and weather based careers (NIWA), Maori Research & Development (Ngai Tahu), Travel & Tourism, Airlines Flight & Crew Ground, Mining & Exploration, Diplomatic Service, Export & Trade etc.
