Level 2 Mathematics and Statistics
201MAT Course Description Recommended Prior LearningStudents must meet the following requirements to be able to take 201MAT course. •Must have taken 100MAT or 101MAT in Year 11 •Have attained Level 1 NCEA qualification and have Numeracy •Must have achieved at least 12 Maths credits at Level 1
This course will enable study of mathematics into level 3 - an opportunity to specialize in either Calculus or Statistics or General Mathematics Course. This course comprises of Internal standards and a choice of sitting for External that contributes to the total credits. All students will be required to complete the course with Internal Standards. This course is a University recognized subject, contributes to Numeracy, and is eligible for Course endorsement should you choose to do an External.
