Specific skills learned:
Students will learn how to produce media products, specifically films, for a specific target audience. Students can expect to learn the processes of script writing, planning, storyboarding, filming and editing.
Semester 1
Level Two Media Studies Semester One looks into the film and creative industries. Students will explore the creative process of filmmaking. This course is recommended for students who are interested in creative industry careers such as film production, advertising, PR and social media content creation.
Semester 2
Level Two Media Studies Semester Two looks into the theoretical side of the creative industries. Students will look into the ethics behind many media texts. This course is recommended for students who are interested in the creative industries or humanitarian’s pathway.

Students need to have completed Level One Media Studies or another Social Science subject to join Level Two Media. Students who have not done any Social Sciences may be accepted if they have passed Level One English with Merit or Excellence
