Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms S. Gilroy

Use drawing to demonstrate understanding of conventions appropriate to Painting.
Systematically clarify ideas using drawing informed by established Painting practice
Systematically clarify ideas involves analyzing, reflecting on, and further developing concepts, subject matter, problems or situations in drawings informed by established practice.
Produce a systematic body of work that integrates conventions and regenerates ideas within Painting practice.

Students will be submitting finished artworks and workbook pages in semester 1. In semester 2 the focus in on the external folio submission and on collating work for scholarship.
