• The course offers 10 credits, 3 internal.
• Internal assessments are a test and a practical assessment and students are expected to use the skills learnt to plan and carry out practical work, and show safe practice for all experimental work.
• Use of models of atomic physics in describing the atomic theories.
• Seniors are expected to take responsibility for their learning, this means reading relevant chapters in the text book, and completing all class work and homework.
